Fish Rearing Facility Tour

Green Lake is a unique lake of statewide significance. It supports excellent cold and warm water fisheries, but is especially known for its quality lake trout.

The Green Lake Sanitary District (GLSD) owns and operates Green Lake’s Fish Rearing Facility (FRF) in cooperation with the Wisconsin DNR and a number of other local organizations. Each year, this facility raises at least 25,000 lake trout for release into Big Green Lake.

Join the Green Team on a tour of the facility and learn about the life cycle of Green Lake’s prized lake trout and their impact on the ecosystem!

PARKING: Parking will be at the Green Lake Sanitary District Fish Rearing Facility located at 1294 N Lawson Drive in Green Lake. The facility is located behind the Egbert Excavating office.
